Can you imagine a small high school with just 30 students playing for the MHSAA Division 4 state championship in soccer? Quite an accomplishment! NMCA lost in the 2004 state soccer finals, but received a beautiful trophy as state runners-up. As the tournament progressed the team was crowned District Champions and Regional Champions after finishing the regular season as co-champions of their local conference. WHAT A YEAR!

Learning the Basics

Since the 1980s NMCA has been an active participant in interscholastic sports. Much of that activity has involved participation in the annual state tournaments sponsored by the Michigan Association of Christian Schools (MACS). Over the years NMCA has won many MACS state championships in boys basketball, baseball and soccer and in girls volleyball. Since 1995 NMCA has participated in the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) state tournaments in boys and girls basketball, girls softball, girls volleyball, boys baseball and boys soccer. NMCA has won MHSAA district championships in boys baseball and in boys soccer.
